SHARE Annual Giving Campaign

In 1985, the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital (GSCNC) started SHARE, Share Her Annual Real Expenses, our annual giving campaign. Over the past 19 years, the SHARE campaign has grown stronger and more integrated into the council's budget. The annual contributions to the SHARE campaign are used to defray the costs associated with the entire Girl Scout program.

Contributions to the SHARE annual giving campaign support:

• Ongoing programs for girls;
• Training for adult volunteers;
• Publications for girls, parents and volunteers;
• Financial assistance to ensure that all girls have the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouting; and
• Property insurance and maintenance for our seven area camps.
